Bad news and good news

I've recently came upon unsettling news that fadhlan and haziq got into a nasty accident. I'm not gonna go into the details but it's pretty bad. I hope everything goes well and that he heals up as soon as possible without any complications. It's sad to hear things like this happening to your friends and people that you know. Here's to them and a speedy recovery.

Getting back in shape vid. :D

I shot this a coupla days before the pd outing. Cuz its been a while since I went out and trained since the last outing which was a few weeks back, and its been half a year since my broken arm incident and I can safely say that right now, I'm fully healed.

Hehehe! I've been really paranoid since then tho. So I've been really careful at the pace that I'm doing things. Accidents happen and my flips aren't that good. And I've lost some tricks as well. Tricks that I don't know when I'd attempt to get back again tho. But all in due time.

So I decided that it's time I go back to full throttle training from now on. And trying to focus on fixing my form. That's the easiest way to go at it I guess. Haha! Fell asleep while uploading this vid lol. So here it is. Nothing much, just drills basically :D alrity. so here's hoping for a great year. laters :D

So here's the vid. Woohoo!! A very fun day. very penat and even tho the sand was really keras for tricking it was still pretty fun tho. Bailing hurts weyy!! XD

Alrity. It was pretty tough patching these together. There were tonnes of clips and in HD, it was a really slow and tedious process. I really need a better computer. Hmm.. Need to find some work. High Quality version will be posted when it's availabe. :D

3RUNmy PD jam session

It was a pretty cool outing we had. Even though we got stuck in a really bad traffic jam which goes all the way from the bangi toll till the pd toll. Pretty neat. NOT

Anyways, We've got some pretty neat footage. And I've compiled most of them already and was thinking whether or not if I should include the pool shots as well. And it's the 2nd draft, I think I'm gonna have to revamp it a bit more. If all goes well I might just do two vids separating the two parts. :D

Parkour Documentary

Earlier today I got an email on myspace from a UITM Malacca student. She wants to cover the story of parkour in Malaysia. It's gonna be around 10-15 minutes. So, I'm gonna be meeting up with her sometime next week. So this weekend I'll discuss with the rest of the guys. It's not a paid gig, but it should be fun nonetheless and not to mention a free advertising grounds to the UITM students. On top of that, there's bound to be some college chicks that'll be watching this. Not a bad deal I think. lol!

So that's that. I'll give you the details after the meeting with her. Oh yeah, Abudi. By the end of this week you should be free right? So then you can go with me lah nanti and meet these people. Woohoo!! Abudi so long haven't seen you. haha!

Next off. Sunday's PD trip. So it's gonna be at Teluk Kemang? I dunno the whole plan but I'm guessing we'll meet up at my place and convoy all the way there. I don't know if I remember how to get there. But it should be easy as long as we don't overshoot the exit. Awesome stuff. Gotta pump the trampoline ball first tho. It's kinda out of gas a bit. XD

I've been online everyday, 24-7 in fact. But all of the bandwidth was spent to downloading a lot of After Effects stuff and watching a lot of tutorials. On top of that, I've been experimenting with a lot of ways to enhance videos. Earlier today I went out to try to experiment with lighting. I wanted to some scenes in Putrajaya but unfortunately it was already raining when I got there. So I had to turn back and do it at TTC.

The sun was out for a bit before the rain started pouring again. Blehh... But no worries. I'll experiment at the beach in PD on Sunday with the dudes. Woooh!!! I bet we're gonna get some really good shots that day. Can't wait. Have been skipping training for about 2 weeks now. Been eating a lot. :D

Another dose of After Effects

Alright I can honestly say that I'm hooked on After Effects. It's really an amazing piece of software. So anyway, here's a revamped version of the 3run title. and played around with a new preset. Pretty awesome stuff! Stay tuned for more. :D

Back to Photography and Photoshop

It's been a while since I really experimented with photoshop. This week's been pretty stale so I took out my camera and stuffed the files into my comp. I installed Photoshop CS4 when I reformatted my computer. I also installed the new Lucisart 3. But unfortunately it fucked up again and the only way that I know of to fix it is to reformat my computer again. WTF? No thank you. Besides, I've been relying on that stupid plugin too much anyway. Time to venture into new things. Time to experiment.

So as you know, the new photoshop has got some issues with some older plugins. So I ended up not using any of my old plugins that I use for my usual workflow. Instead, I think I wanna try out stuff from scratch without any more plugins and really explore more of Photoshop.

So here are the recent ones that I did. I really had no clue how the end result was gonna be like when I started with these. But they turned out pretty cool. So, I'm hoping I'll be getting more and more of these weird artworks in the future. :D Thanks for viewing. Laters!




Oh yea, and look out for future After Effects works later. I've been studying it for almost two weeks now. It's really amazing stuff. Can't wait to experiment with it. :D

Magibon woott???

So I was playing with vegas and ae till late again last nite. And in between renderings that took up to 1 hour on some, I decided to do some youtube surfing. So I was viewing the stuff in the recently favorited from my buddies and somehow ended up finding Magibon. At first I thought it was just some youtube slang. So after finding the word "Magibon" on some of the video descriptions of some vloggers I decided I should find out what this Magibon really is.

Magibon. Search. Voila!! this popped up.



Haha! kinda cute really. Her voice however kinda was a bit weird for me at first but I'm okay with it now. Okay so what is this actually? Well I don't really know. Apparently this is one of the longer vids on her channel. The rest of them shows her doing this. Check it out.



Yeppers. Most of her vids are of her doing stuff like that. For some reason I kept on clicking the rest of her videos. LOL!! Did some googling, and found some of her stuff on WIKI by some really angered and jealous individuals. She's pretty fugly in real life due to her really prominent chin and nasty teeth that she tried really hard to hide. But that's besides the point. Point is, she managed to gather so many audience on youtube and even managed to get invited to be interviewed on a show in Japan. Just goes to show how important camera angles and lighting is. Wooh!! having being an amateur photographer for a while now I really, really understand the science of this kinda fugly to very kawaiii transformation through a camera lens. Good job I say! haha!!

Oh did I mention that she's not even asian? Yeppers, in fact she's american and lives in Pensylvania. Stalk much? Yea, I do when I feel the need to. XD And ummm what else. Oh yeah. She's hated by girls everywhere on youtube. Come on girls, just because she has more subscribers and hits than you doesn't mean you have to bring her down. Stop being bitches and keep doing your lame vlogs that people don't really care about. Yeah, you read right. Don't pretend that you have no clue that the reason people keep coming back is because of your heavy make-up, blow dried hair, and most importantly, CLEAVAGE!! Yep. One of the most important aspect for female vloggers on youtube to consider when uploading videos there. Oh it doesn't work if you're fugly or fat or too thin or have no boobies either. But don't worry tho, we have all kinds of ways to fix that. Be creative, be adventurous, explore the magic of video editting and practice in front of the mirror to make sure you show your best angles and expressions at all times.

Storage Woes..

In a world that's extremely dependent on technology. Everything seems to be stored in 0's and 1's nowadays. I can still remember the day I got my first computer. I think it was windows 95. I was really amazed of this thing and what it could do. Being a kid with such strong curiosity I figured I should explore this new thing, and of course I ended up deleting some files that weren't meant to be deleted. Which in the end resulted in the computer failing to boot. I gotta remind you guys, back then we don't have windows dvds selling at 5 bucks a pop. Everything was Genuine, god forbid. But back then it wasn't as expensive as it is today. Software today are so ridiculously priced that it's not hard to see why people are resorting to piracy. I mean seriously, who would pay up to 500 bucks and more for a piece of software??

And of course, with the advent of newer and better software and the plethora of media that we store in our pc's. We are now burdened by a new dilemma, which is storage space. Yep. It's come to that. Back then my computer only had 8mb of ram and 1gig of hard drive space. Wooh!! Now I have 2gigs of ram, a 2.4gig processor and 480gigs of hard disk space!!! Yeps. 480gigs yo! And I still think it's nowhere near enough. I've been running on this crappy 40gig samsung drive since I got this rig. It's slow, it's small but it works tho. Even after almost 5 years I think.

It used to be games before it turned into music and afterwards, software hoarding. Recently tho, I got myself interested in photography which in turn since I got into the hobby about 1 year ago I have collected over 50gigs worth of pics. Woohoo!!! What an accomplishment!! haha!! But!!!! The most recent development has been video editting. Ever since we got ourselves a HD cam, I had to learn about video editting from scratch. Everything from AVCHD file formats, apps that can render it and support it natively, the best settings to view it on youtube at the smallest possible size and color correcting video footage. I've still got a long way to go, but I think my experience in photography and photoshop has helped me a lot in getting a grasp of filmography and editing.

So now, after about a coupla weeks of being into film. I've accumulated about 20gigs of stuff. And that's after I've deleted a lot of the clips. Which is a pain since the AVCHD format is not really user friendly. My rig can't run the clips smoothly since they're in Full HD which is 1920 x 1080. Heck the maximum resoltion of my monitor is only 1280x1024. And its square! not wide! arghh!! I need a new screen, and a new rig for that matter. hahaha!! Editting avchd is a real pain. Since its always lagging. But I got used to it already.

I just installed After Effects CS4. I really don't have a clue on how to use it yet. But hopefully in a few weeks I'd be able to pull off a few tricks with it. Till then, wait for the Youth '09 event crashing footage and pics soon. Till then. Laters!! :D

holy shit im gonna be 24 this year!! WTF!!! I'm getting old really fast. Can't really believe it. Hmm. So what should I be doing this year? I have no idea really. Let's see what's gonna happen. Weee!!

and youtube. I have 2 words for you. FUCK YOU!! it seems like google's fingerprinting of music is really really accurate. So its either you use some weirdass music or maybe not so famous stuff you'll pass by. As for now I'm stuck with the new year video with me. I had to change it for the 3rd time and this time i hope it passes. So yea. Again. Fuck you youtube!!!!
