I've been doing and performing the art of Parkour and Free-Running for more than 4 years. I started way back in 2006. To some it might sound like a long time but in all honesty, I'm just barely scraping off the icing on the cake. It's a highly physical and technical form of movement and is dangerous when not done properly or without enough training. On contrary to what people think, these things that we do that are so "death-defying" are actually very well calculated risks.
I've been lucky enough to have made somewhat of a living out of doing what I love. I've done stunt work for several big budget local movies and also have been hired for TV commercials both local and international. However, I've yet to experience working on a production that wants purely free-running. If anything that would be my dream job :D
I'm a part of the rapidly growing parkour community of which several athletes are professionals and are as fully passionate about the art as I am. And I have made really good friends that was born out of doing parkour. These are some of the best people I've met in my life and I wouldn't change it for anything.
