A really good bit of information for Malaysian Tricksters

So here's a vid by Dogen about muscle memory. Since we lack the proper facilities to train our tricking here cuz gyms are really hard and really expensive to come by. So I bet most of us train on grass. Grass is ok but it's not really that safe. It also makes our form in tricking quite ugly and lack air. So despite all these downsides, we still manage to learn our tricks albeit not the correct way, but still , it's something.

So even tho we might not get the perfect form that we want at least there's something we can work on. Which is the proper way of training. And this vid is a good resource for all of u guys. Watch and remember what it says so that we can all improve on our tricking. Slow and steady is always better in our case. Safety is the most important aspect of our training. So train hard and keep it safe :D

I Crippled a Maybank2u Email Scam!!!

Okay so I got this email supposedly from Maybank. And for the first time in my life, I almost fell for it. Actually this guy's trick is pretty good. The email header was legit and he's got a phishing site elsewhere. So what he did was trying to get you to go into your maybank2u account get ur TAC number. A TAC number is a code which u need if u want to do any online transactions which is a really good security measure cuz u can only request a TAC number with ur ATM card at an ATM machine or request it online and have it delivered to ur phone.

So the link from the email led me to the MAYBANK2u website. I checked it out and it was also legit. Logged in and requested a TAC number and then went to the next link. The supposedly "secured server" and another page popped up with Maybank stuff on it. There i was given 3 empty boxes to fill in. My user name, password and TAC number. At this time I was still unaware and keyed in my user name and password, but when I wanted to key in my TAC number, something caught my eye. On the fake site, they had the same design and text and logos and everything including this particular phrase which actually saved me. it says that "Maybank will never send u email links" so I immediately stopped what I was doing.

I scrutinized the page a bit more and noticed that the url was weird. It wasn't a maybank url. it read systemqwe. So then I did a google search and found out that this was indeed a scam site. Some guys did an ip trace or something and found it to be hosted on someplace where it wasn't supposed to be. Heck, even the maybank logo was hosted on flickr. With that, I forwarded this email to maybank and asked them whether this was legit. And finally they replied my email with this. The site was blocked. WOOOHH!! I guess this makes me the one who crippled this scam!!!! I'm a hero!!! I'm so cool!! i saved so many people's monayy!!!! haha!!! and also just for kicks, i logged in to the scam site after i sent the report email to maybank cuz by then I was already pretty sure that it was a phishing site and keyed in FUCKYOU as the username and password (with numbers for the password) lol!

So yea, the moral of the story is. The internet is a dangerous place. So always be cautious especially with your personal identity and ur money!!!!!

Free for the time being... :D

Alrity so from today till the 6th of next month, I'll be free as a bird woohooo!!! My whole body is sakit, I got a little scrape on my left eyelid, lotsa bruises, a wound on my left foot and more tan!! haha!! But it was good fun tho.

So I don't have much to write about right now. Maybe later but I have for you today a little compiled video of clips for the supposed short film competition that we were supposed to enter. It still had a lot of content missing, and this is the unfinished product. But I'm posting it up anyway, as like of a trailer or something for the actual video nanti. :D It's gonna be a long one, not like a normal video clip. I've got everything drawn out in my head and hopefully it'll come out to fruition. It's a long term project, so yea. Wait for it. It's not coming out soon I'm afraid. haha!!




edit : Alrity. I think imma fill in the blanks and tell you what I did yesterday. haha! Fortunately for me, yesterday's shoot at an underground carpark in CapSquare which I think is a new place's call time was at 12pm. So I had a lot of time to sleep. And I thought that it was gonna be just a simple fight scene which in the end, was a fairly simple fight scene but very painful. XD

So this part is where a coupla other dudes and myself drive and block a bmw while the driver (a woman) was driving out and kidnap her. But then the "Hero" who was tgh happily jalan kaki after having flirting or something with the woman heard her shouting and shit and came running back in slooooww mooottiiiooonnn..... wow.. Running in slow motion. Oh yea speaking of slow motions. I saw the cameras these guys were using and it they were RED. Not the color, the brand is RED One i think. And from what I saw, these were DIGITAL!!! Everything was stored into hard drives!! AWESOME SHIT MON!!!

Ok so back on track, this dude comes running back to the crime scene and I got a flying kick fro the dude and as I came back to smack his head, he blocks and lifts me up and throws me down on the concrete. Yes, you read right. LIFTS ME UP and slams me INTO THE CONCRETE!!!! WTF!!! Bapak sakit sial!! after that one I had to do another couple of webster bails where I land on my back for the close up shot of the dude slamming me to the concrete. WEBSTER BAILS WHERE I LAND ON MY BACK ON CONCRETE!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!! and after that I had to get kicked in the chest for real for the close up shot of the flying kick. Even with padding, SAKIT SIALLL!!! WTF??? Lol!!

The director is one insane dude. Nak semua look effing real without any concerns for safety. As long as it looks good he doesn't seem to care about the cost. For an experienced stuntman who trains for these kinds of falls and shit the stuff I did was easy peasy I'm sure. But I'm not trained to do those things mon. I'm a free runner yo. I can do some kicks and some flips, but not EVERYTHING. haha!! Had to fight my instincts everytime I do the stunts they ask me to do.

It's pretty easier to do things this time around as compared to last time. I used to get nervous before every scene cuz I was afraid to mess up. But nowadays, I just take my time to analyze the timing, the marks and the moves that I have to do and progressively try to get better at them on the spot rather than worrying about it before hand. Which seems to work. I'm more relaxed, less tense and it just makes things less tiring overall.

And umm the girl I mentioned. Apparently her name's Raja Farah. haha! I dunno about u guys but she's really cute in person. :D and to Lina and A'a. I'm out of credits lah. haha!! I'll top up soon. weee!! peace out!!

HAQ The Movie

I just came back from Sabak Bernam, from two days worth of shooting for the upcoming move HAQ. So anyways I don't know if I can give out the details yet or even the photos of the shoot. But then again, it's free publicity for them anyways. So I don't see it being wrong and if they don't like it I'll just take the photos down. But unfortunately i don't have any photos today cuz I didn't bring my camera. There's another shoot tomorrow, and I'll make sure I bring my camera this time haha!! I get to work with that Farah girl I don't know if I spelled it right. I don't really watch malay dramas so I don't really know her name or any of her dramas that she's been in but I've seen her on teevee a lot. She's pretty weyhh!! and I seem to have failed to respond when she talks to me. Segan arh. lol! And she kinda has that Ali Larter look. I'll try and deliver some good quality stalker shots tomorrow. :) wish me luck! :P Goodnight all

edit: eh wait a minute. I don't even know if she'll even be there tomorrow. arggghh!!

And yeah what I managed to do the past 2 days. I got to dress as a girl and get thrown into a van. and had a nasty cut on my foot. lotsa blood weyh!! weee!! crosdressing is part of the job and you'll end up being the girl if you're small sized like me. haha!! and umm let's see, i chased after a van flew and landed on top of it while it's still moving. had to do an aerial from on top of the van which kinda twists (i just figured it out) i kinda over-rotated 180 degrees when I landed. haha!!

That's mainly cuz i had to whip this kain i was holding on my right hand, and hit the driver with it through the driver's window while IN MID FUCKING AIR!! Yes, so I couldn't spot my landing cuz I had to look at the driver's window all the time so I can hit the guy. So I didn't really have time to worry about my form. Penat woo, I think I did like 5 or 6 takes doing that and I bailed a few times but luckily i wasn't hurt. Got it on video, I'll try to get it from the stunt team.

So okay, I did a weird aerial from on top of a van, hit the driver in midair, land without spotting from about 6 foot high, get into a fighting position, wait for the que from the other stunt guy coming out from the other side of the van, flying kick the dude's chest and get out of the screen all the time while trying to hide my face. The camera was like 7 feet away from the van. Oh yea, I forgot to mention. I had to wear a Baju Melayu and kain sampin while doing all this. Yay!! So cool. I had to be the body double for the main actor.

But all in all it was a fun day. Not really that stressful. Cuz I was thinking to myself that this is not for the directors, its for me, and I want my work to be awesome!! So yea, I had fun challenging myself. A few bumps and scrapes to answer for that. So that's it. :D Tomorrow is another day for another update. And with PICCIES!!!

So as you know, I did the banner in after effects and then further edited in Photoshop. It was meant to be just a static shot, but after looking at it I decided to make a movie version. So I came up with this. It's pretty cool. :D another clip title I can use for future vids. Weee!!

My other home in JB

As some of you already know. My dad works in JB now. So umm.. he kinda got a new place. It's empty tho since he just got it. I haven't seen it so I decided to tag along and checkout the place. If this place wasn't so far, I'd live here weyh! haha!! There's a pool, I've got free streamyx, my own room, air conditioning everywhere and its pretty secure too. Can't even call on the elevator without a key card. neato!

The new age of PKMY (Now 3RunMy)

Yep, as the title says, the board will get a major revamp and lots more still in the planning stages but will be put into action ASAP. It's gonna be one of the major updates that's gonna bring an impact this year. We're off to a good start. :D Stay tuned guys, it's only gonna get better. Much, much better. we have lots planned for the local free run scene. woohh!!

edit:- alrity i think i managed to pull it off. I rearranged some of the clips and umm. well it seems to work. Although I would've preferred that all of the clips were cinematic. But I guess this'll have to do for now. For the youtube version, I'll have to get more shots and more action. too bad the deadline for the contest is so soon. So now all i have to do is color correct them in AE and record the narration and try to sync it with the music and clips. and that's after i process the voice recording to get it to sound somewhat more professional. argghh!! and i got my grade 5 music trials tomorrow!! sheeett!! it's 3am!!! nooo!!! imma finish the color correction quick, render it out, and go back to vegas. oh sheeett!! wish me luck!! lol!! im not gonna have any sleep tonight im afraid. XD

Tomorrow's shoot..

Okay, so tomorrow's the day we do the shoot. But whatever it is, we have to finish it tomorrow regardless. If it rains or anything, we'll have to find some way to use it for our vid. In fact if it rains, it would be kinda cool, but only if rains after we finished our main acts. I've never done this kind of thing before, i don't think any of us have. So, I'm hoping it'd be a success and be a benchmark for future vids and shit for the rest of the Malaysian PKFR/Tricking community. :)

So umm.. yea, I guess that's about it. Oh and I also kinda got a flu since yesterday. So I hope its gone by tomorrow. In fact Imma go out and get some panadols for the night. Couldn't sleep a wink last night cuz it was hard to breathe. I ended up doing a movie marathon till sunrise. Need to rest tonight, argghh!!

UiTM Malacca shoot days 1 and 2 (Behind the Scenes)

So here's a vid i compiled and just uploaded. It's from the recent documentary shoot. And umm, yeah the music. lol. I dunno, i kinda like trying on different kinds of things. Be prepared for the upcoming short film!! It's gonna be awesome!!!! I think... hahhaa!! Gotta finish it this weekend. All scenes will be new unused clips. Since I want it to be different than the usual clips that we usually do. So in the meantime. And umm.. well they'll be judging the vid on a few criterias. And with the current shots that I have with me. Almost none of them contain any of them, so ummm.. I know it sucks but we have to shoot something new this weekend. :p Enjoy the new vid. Me like japanese stuff. :P

Things to look forward to...

Hello peoples! And now for another sneak peek into my life.

As you all know, we've been doing a documentary being shot by a few broadcasting students from UiTM Melaka. We've gone through 2 days of filming and its been great! Could've finished it last Sunday but unfortunately, I kinda lost my car keys. So umm yeah. My bad, I guess I was too amped up after taking one of those suspicious "energy" pills from Pali. I do recall him mentioning about having steroids in his car. (in a joking manner) haha!!

So the last location for the day was at the Monumen Alaf Baru. Which is one of my favorite if not THE favorite tricking spot. Had lots of fun doing flippies, and stuff. I shouldnt've been doing any of that btw. Before I took that pill my badan was sakit2 weh! I told myself that I'm not gonna be doing any fancy stuff that day cuz I don't wanna end up injuring myself. But then, there I was, going out full throttle in the middle of the afternoon sun and I was feeling great. lol!

Next off!! We have another couple of videos coming up. It's gonna be different from our usual vids from My3run and susuralley. So watch out for that, if all goes well, it'll be up and posted sometime early next week. I'll be leaving for Sabak bernam on the 20th and 21st this month. I've got offered a job for some stuntwork. yay! Haven't been doing any of that for a while now. So, the 20th and 21st, will be shot in Sabak Bernam. The 2nd and 6-8 of March will be shot in KL. For the KL locations, korang datang skali weh! :D

Oh yea, as a last note. I've got tonnes of media to go thru. Lotsa vids and pics. So I'm gonna go thru them and post them up as much as I can. :D And here are a coupla shots for today.

It's been a few days since my last post. Nothing much going on. And when I say nothing much, it means that I have no new media to post up along with my thoughts. And since this blog has been all about giving you guys and gals something to look at as a reward for reading thru the mundane text, so yeah. :D
